Well, not flown, so much as being driven. She’s going to Saskatoon with Delores, from SaskAlley Cat Allies. She’s off to find a new home, and maybe some meds for her eye. Turns out, it’s just a bit of an infection. It should clear up pretty quick. Otherwise, Delores says, she’s pretty healthy.
Now we’re back down to six cats/kittens. Cheryl wants to keep Harley. I figure it’s because Cheryl personally rescued Harley and now feels responsible for her. She (Harley, that is, not Cheryl) is going to the vets next month to be fixed and get all her shots. She’s not going to want to go out for a while, if Smoky was anything to go by. When Smoky got fixed, she hid for several days until the fur started to grow back. She was rather embarrassed to be seen in public “undressed” like that.
Sari, on the other hand, could have cared less. She wanted to be fussed over and she wanted some cuddling. That meant coming out from under the couch, so that’s what she did. Mind you, Sari doesn’t have the same position in the household that Smoky has to maintain. Personally, I don’t bother much about the female pecking order around here. I’m the boss. I know it. There’s no need to brag.
Cheryl has a chunk more homework to do, so I can’t talk long. She’s into the section where she’s doing web pages. Finally! she says. Now all she has to do is try to remember how to do pages like they’re asking her to do. She’s progressed a bit beyond what they’re teaching so far, so that makes it hard for her to “get the job done efficiently” she says.
Well, there’s the door, so I’d better get going. It’s probably supper coming.
