The neighbour at the end of the block has a new pet – a puppy. The kids next to her, the ones that don’t listen to anyone, brought the puppy over here to ‘say hello’. I was in the house looking out when he came up the step and stuck his nose right in my face. He’s got a scratch on his ear for his troubles and hopefully he won’t come back. And the woman had the nerve to say *I* was at fault!! Sheesh! I wonder how long this pet will last. Two cats that were given to us eventually (including Ardua) and an assortment of hamsters (we got the dirty cages to dispose of) have already been disposed of.
